There isn't much evidence of it so far, but it's pretty odd that some people get offended and take it personally when their favourite artists/tracks etc are criticised. I don't think in 10 years of internet usage I ever read a single post on any forum that made me start to like something that I don't like, or made me dislike something that I do like...I mean it's 100% personal preference, I really love cheese, but if I read somebody on here post that they hated cheese, I'm not going to be upset or get offended by it, and it certainly wouldn't make me start to hate cheese. Anyway!
To add to my Lennon, Queen, and Joy Division, I reckon Hey Jude by The Beatles is massively over-rated, it's 2 minutes of pretty nice song, and then what at least seems to be about 3 and a half hours of inane "naaa naaa naaa na na na naaaaaaaaaaa" - just drives me do distraction, I keep thinking it's about to end, but it never does.
every classic rock song.
always a popular opinion on a "classic rock website"
