Nah, it was on the radio at the time to get the countdown, and half the people there couldn't stand up long enough to do the dance and the rest decided not too (myself included... I've been wary of those stereotypical party dances ever since I embarrassed myself at my graduation dinner by pulling a muscle doing the Nutbush City Limits

Well it's not exactly a stereotypical party dance. At least not as much that one shuffle where the guy yells at you to "take it back now y'all" and makes people shimmy and take a certain number of hops. That song annoys the crap out of me.
