A few more videos of the Liverpool concert from July:

Love And Only Love (Could only find an edit version unfortunately, great way to start though - loud and long!)

After The Gold Rush

Heart Of Gold (with an amusing introduction by Neil)

Rockin' In The Free World

Like A Hurricane

One funny little story came a couple of weeks after the concert when my Mum mentioned in conversation the 'James Taylor concert'. An understandable mistake to make if you're only really familiar with the Harvest album although I think taking someone into a Neil Young concert like this one with them expecting a James Taylor type show is a bit like tricking your grandparents into going on wild rollercoasters!

Yeah,James Taylor is always great, but he never seemed particularly interested in committing any musical experiments to disc.Of course at times,Young has been quite the folkie like Taylor, but unlike Taylor,he's hardly limited to the genre. He's always quite willing to take his music in many conceptual directions and this is why he deserved his hall of fame induction more than James.Footnote:Neil Young inducted Paul McCartney into the hall of fame and in turn,Paul inducted Taylor.Interesting cycle..........

I prefer the Orchestral versions of Story tone...

Does anybody know a (preferable) HD video of Neil Young in concert to download or buy?
I'm more looking into an acoustic show... As BBC 1970 or Prairie Wind.

Thanks :D

I heard this one from Neil's experimental 80's era on Sirius Deep Tracks a while back.

A strange song, but addictive too.

I believe Heart of Gold (an acoustic concert from the Prairie Wind era) is available to buy HD, and I think it's also on Itunes.

Very cool pick, IMO the best song on Trans. Recently did a list of the top 15 best Neil songs of the 80s and it made the cut.
