Cool! Regular Show is very funny. My favorite character is Rigby but sometimes is Mordecai, depends of the chapter.

I saw Neil Young and Crazy Horse with a friend, we were very lucky. I was spellbound with his guitar work, a real master class of a gig. A true legend in my eyes.

      Hi CurtRHCP,

I went to the Neil Young concert in question so it was funny to find videos of the exact performances I saw. It was a fantastic night!

The Wimbledon game was a potential banana skin given the history between Liverpool and the 'old' Wimbledon (bit of a long story - happy to explain if you're not familiar) - they beat us in the 1988 FA Cup final, their small ground and their huge striker in Adebayo Akinfenwa, one of the strongest players in world football. Fortunately, we won and played okay - although Steven Gerrard scoring both goals isn't too encouraging for the future given that we know he's leaving.

I did see the Sunderland game at the weekend on TV, a deserved victory with Markovic being the best performer. Last season was unexpectedly great but somehow we've gone from having a strike pair scoring 52 goals combined to a trio who've contributed one league goal between them. Hopefully Sturridge's long awaited return will improve this matter.

I think you'd get used to the synthesizer. Phosphorescents older album don't really use it but I prefer it because I like the unique mix of Country with something more ambient.

I'm listening to Surf Curse and it's not bad. it's kind of like a punk version of the Beach Boys. :)

Taking your criteria I'll try again. The album "Benji" that came out this year by Sun Kil Moon is brilliant. It's stripped down folk storytelling and all the songs are descriptive songs about his family. The detail and his vocals pull you right in! :)

If you like Sturgill you may also like an artist called Phosphorescent. Muchacho by them was my favorite album of 2013. It's actually one guy like a NIN thing. The vocalist sounds a lot like Willie Nelson. :)

Damn right, I love Neil Young! Good to have you on my friend list now and I hope to see you in many of my threads in the very near future. By the way, "Ragged Glory", "On The Beach", "Zuma" and "Tonight's The Night" are all amongst my Top Neil Young Albums. I recommend that you get all of them, especially if you like Neil Young much.
