First of all,
Why 119??
It is divisible 17 times by 7, I suppose.
7 is my number, for many reasons.
Anyhow, this is an interesting list of songs.
The TOP 20 looks cool.
Then there is 3 acts I've never heard of; they must be very local and close to home American or Canadian Bands -
Frijid Pink, Rare Earth and Sugarloaf.
Never heard of The Gentrys or Delaney & Bonnie either.
That would be like me putting in local Australian / New Zealand acts.

Two Highlights in the 119 list are ' Ride Captain Ride ' by Blues Image
I remember this song from when I was 9 yrs old in Primary School.
It still sounds good today.

I don't know where WEDGEBEAT is from, though there is a song on this list that was a HIT in Australia # 12/ Ireland # 11 & the UK # 5, a minor Hit in Europe & Scandinavia as well.
The song is only 2 mins long, therefore it needs to be replayed many times for full satisfaction.
It remains to be one of my favourite tunes of all time, for good reason.
I didn't know it at the time, in 1970, that the Band would turn out to be my #1 Band of all time.
I now own 33 Studio albums by this Band, who are easily the Best and Greatest Rock Band in History.
THE SONG IS " DOWN THE DUSTPIPE " by STATUS QUO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
