David Crosby RIP

January 2023. David Crosby has died aged 81. David was a singer/songwriter and guitarist and a one time member of the Byrds during the 1960s before teaming up with Stephen Stills and Graham Nash to form the hugely successful Crosby, Stills & Nash during 1969-70 and releasing an album of the same name as well as performing at the Woodstock festival in August 1969. In 1970 CS&N were joined by Neil Young to form Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and released the album Deja Vu in 1970. David also released a number of solo albums during his musical career plus he teamed up occasionally with Graham Nash to form Crosby & Nash where they performed as a duo.

Another gaping chasm in the world of music-what talent... he left us a legacy of utterly mind blowing music.
I'll be toasting him later with one of his tunes.
He'll be having some reunion up there!

What a terrible year thus far. Another of my music heroes dead at age 81. What an incredible talent he was, co-founding both The Byrds and Crosby,Stills and Nash.
