There are almost too many "songs to drive to" to list, but I have road trips down to a science.

The first disc I always start out listening to is always mellow (Sade, Enya, Craig Chaquico, Robert Plant, etc) and then I'll progress up the ladder to Supertramp, Jefferson Starship, Bob Seger, Genesis, etc untill the last leg of the trip which envariably ends with Queensryche, Soundgarden, Ozzy, etc.

As for individual songs... long songs are always good to listen to on the open road -- Green Grass and High Tides, Do You Feel Like We Do, No Quarter (live), etc...

Ramble On is myfavorite song to drive to when I'm pissed off haha.

I love spacing out and listening to Stairway. I listen to that song every single day of my life.

HA!! I moved to San Jose in the late 80's.. This song kept popping up in my mind as I drove around the place.. Getting to know the lay out.. San Jose is a Mecca for good rock bands.. Man do I have some stories about that place.. WHEW!!!
