Kings X is a great band and they have been to Hell and Back with their struggle to keep the band going...
Did they get back together yet, Runtfan?....I heard Doug was having tough, tough times.

Kings x - out of the silent planet top album, jimmy page tops, janes addiction superb, but i have to say the album that was never off my turntable, tape deck and now my cd player was Queensryche - Operation mindcrime an absolute classic! This album still cuts it today for sheer technical brilliance

A lot of good/great albums came out in 1988, but I think it'd be damn tough to top Metallica - And Justice For All.

One that comes to mind is Lita Ford's debut album. Basically anything else in Lita's solo career is just a flash in the pan, but her debut is spectacular.

That was actually Lita's 3rd album (but it was self-titled)

Her first album was Out For Blood (1983)





Her second album was Dancin' On the Edge (1984), which was a FANTASTIC album. Much better than the popular 1988 release

My mistake, but I suppose that just shows how flash in the pan-y they all are. I've heard stuff off of her other albums, but it never impressed me all that much.
