That's classic rock heresy. :pullhair:

I agree with him on Def Leppard particularly because they only ever play the most over rated rock anthem Pour Some Sugar On Me. I have never heard radio play anything else.

While on Def Leppard I dislike anything they did after Adrenalize. Became too commercialised for my liking.

Black Sabbath did some pretty dire stuff too but You Won't Change Me was annoying for me because of the organ. Not keen at all on that song. Not to mention a fair chunk of Never Say Die was average. That is an album I still hope will grow on me somehow.

The only Led Zeppelin song I would say I do dislike is Your Time Is Gonna Come for the same reason I dislike that Sabbath song, I don't like organs dominating a song. Not a fan of that sound.

REM is another band that I have very little time for. They have a couple of tunes I don't mind, but most I flat out don't care for. These four could possibly go into a "HATE" category:

REM - Losing My Religion
REM - Everybody Hurts
REM - It's The End of the World
REM - Shiny Happy People

Seriously, I'd rather inject acid into my eardrums than be subject to hearing any of these ever again.

Agreed. Superman and The One I Love are still songs I like but a lot of their stuff I really dislike now and it's mainly because the singer's voice gets on my nerves.

When I was in high school, I couldn't wait for Sheena Easton's 'Morning Train' to go away.

Ditto for The Knack's 'My Sharona'

I like a handful of Billy Squier's stuff, but when 'The Stroke' came out, I gave serious thought to going on a violent shooting spree every time it came on the radio. Which was every 15 minutes, on every station.

Fantastic. I can never be offended by being called 'closed minded' on these boards again.

Thanx.

It's not close minded if you've heard the song 30,000 times and know every note, whether you want to or not, and still don't like it. That's having an informed opinion. Hehehe.

I like Smooth too, as well as Midnight at the Oasis, Speed King and Smoke On the Water.

I love the Meddle album by Pink Floyd, but hate Seamus - it's not funny. Another Day in Paradise by Phil Collins is nauseating, along with his soul covers.
