My I-Pod!!!! There are so many ways to just talk to people nowadays and I was able to communicate before one so I think I could ditch it in a heartbeat.

Not when you are sitting in a stalled car 40 miles from home in the middle of nowhere. Or when you get separated from your friends while shopping or hiking in the forest or any other similar situation. Or if you have an accident and cannot crawl to a public phone to call for help. If your teenager has to ask for a lift home because the bus passed by them by or didn't show up. And so forth.

This one is tough. I use both regularly throughout the day. Only difference is, I can't do what I do on my phone on my computer, in relation to my ipod being able to be used on the computer. So if I don't have my ipod, I still have my music, so i'll go with cell phone.

True! I'm not saying that their aren't drawbacks to not haviung them but my point still stands that we survived without these things prior (Gopd I feel old now :heheh:) and could if we really wanted to now! :) Then again obviously I could "survive" without my I-Pod but when it comes to ech as a venue of music I hate music on cells.

What's an IPOD? OK.. I'm being facetious, but I don't own one.

I'm still in Awe about how we ever lived without these things back in the 70's and early 80's.. We did just fine.. Pull over and use a 10 cent pay phone if you had to call someone.. Or just drive over to their house.. And of course there is always the radio in your car and bedroom to listen to so no need to wander around with things in your ears.. You kinda didn't want to tune out people around you..:D

My Ipod. I'm one of few people that are able to live without their cellphone. I've never even had one. Most people I know just bitch about the bill. Plus all I do in class is plug my headphones in and jam. I would go bat shit crazy without having music while travelling or doing mundane tasks.

I voted cell phone. I use it for damn near everything. I use it as an alarm clock, to see what the time is, to see what the day of the week is, etc. There are others way to listen to music. That, and you never know when you're going to be in trouble and have to call someone ASAP.
