How can Joan Jet not be in. Bad Reputation is as punk rock as a song gets. I love rock n roll is a timelesss anthem. Chicago one of my favorite jam bands Kiss the kings of marketing and understanding how to create/sustain a brand.

Eligibility starts 25 years after the release of a band/artist's first recording

Yeah Lynch has it right. The stipulations were that at least 25 years needed to have passed since the release of any artist's debut album THOUGH last I heard they were lower the number of years that needed to pass because they wanted to rush the likes of Nirvana into the rock hall as opposed to inducting older bands that the induction committee don't like, even though they deserve it.

Well, my thoughts on the RnR Hall of Shame are well documented over the years.
