Love your avatar :grinthumb A friend recently gave me a DVD box set of The Prisoner and I'm currently enjoying watching them for the first time. The original is much better than the remake (although I enjoyed that too). I'm going to visit Portmeirion next March - can't wait :)

I like some songs here and there but I'd rather be introduced by a real fan and you must be because you post their stuff all the time. Dude, you have the ambition. :heheh: I know you like the bands enough and it's the best way you can get them a broader audience. Bands threads are easy, a concise background, blurb about what you like about them, a couple pics and a couple vids! At least consider it dude! :grinthumb

Hey dude, I see you really love White Lies, KT Tunstall and Metric! I think the best way to get the word out is an official thread for these artist! People tend to elevate towards songs they already know for polls but when I see an artist thread I'm a lot more interested. If you make one for any of those artist I'll definitely check them out! :grinthumb

Thanks for hooking up with me. I see by your age that you are the next wave of Beatles fan coming along, which is groovy. I exposed my children to The Beatles all throughout their lives and they are ultimate fans as well. My son was invited to play a few licks in a beatles cover band, he was elated and it the experience was a great family night out. As far as I am concerned, The Beatles all the music I'll ever need and love re-discovering albums I haven't played in a while.

Hey BeatlesFan...just so you know, I love The Beatles and can never decide which song I like better in your Beatles polls...most of the time I can't pick one song over another. Just letting you know, so you don't think I'm avoiding your polls.

BTW, a belated welcome to the forum...

      Keep A-Rockin...

"One of Ringo's great qualities was that he composed unique, stylistic drum parts for The Beatles songs. His parts are so signature to the songs that you can listen to a Ringo drum part without the rest of the music and still identify the song." -Steve Smith
"Ringo is the leader in the education for all young drummers of style over flash, always playing the right things rather than a lot of things.” -Stewart Copeland
