Worst Christmas Songs

Well, it's that time of the year. Lots of Christmas music on the radio, some stations are even on the 24hr a day thing until Christmas.

So here is the question, what do you think is the worst Christmas song ever? I'm not really talking Bing Crosby and ones like that, but the songs done by rockers.

My vote for worst song goes to Paul McCartney's "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmastime". Makes me want to pull an Elvis and shoot the radio.

By two weeks of Slade 'Merry Christmas' and I have to agree about 'Maccers' Christmas Offering i've lost that Christmas anticipation and I just long for January.

But my vote goes to I Wish it could Be Christmas Every Day by Roy Wood & Wizard.....Why? Don't know it just bugs me.

I guess I'll call it Patti Labelle Disease
Mariah Carey, Celine Dionne and countless younger singers sing all my Christmas Favorites but in Patti Labelle Disease fashion.

meaning, they use their ENTIRE vocal range in each and every bar of the song.
boy, does it make my ears tired.

Wait...I think I have one worse than the McCartney tune. It is the song by The Waitresses. I wish I could remeber the name. It rerpeats Meerry Christmas man times, and has something to do with cranberry sauce.

That would be enough to make me postal or something. And I thought playing nothing but Christmas songs on Christmas eve and Christmas day was bad!!! There's gotta be some kind of law against treating employees like that....
