Make that a hardtop SS396 in dark green (same white stripes, but sans the hide-away headlights) and you've got the car my brother and I "shared" in high school. Muncie 4-speed, aftermarket 8-track tape and reverb units hanging under the dash.

Often they talk about 1968 as the most difficult year of all of the difficult years in the 60's.
And then the stones came out with "Let It Bleed" in 69.
People have said it has the best most impactful lead track ever because of the state of the world at that time.
It always brings back the memory of the world being on the edge of total meltdown.
