From the list I'll go with U2...I could have gone with Tool or Oasis but I don't consider them "overrated"...just popular bands...nothing over the top "famous" famous

May I just ask, when it comes to Oasis, are we talking abotu over rated by the public or overrated by the Gallaghers? Cause i'm pretty sure nothing could live up to Noels expectations

I think U2 is the most overrated band ever. Their cheap music, acting like the saviors of the earth, being referred as the best rock band everywhere... arrgh...

overrated? no rock artist is overrated just everyone has different tastes.
PS; do people here actually believe heavy metal isn't a genre of rock? I didn't know that?

When a band has at least one song which is liked by, I'd say, the majority of the music listenning population I find it hard to consider them overrated.
