^ That's fair enough, if you like The Open Door (which is not a bad album by any means), but I agree with LG. The same thing happened with John & Yoko and Heart when they mixed business with pleasure.

Anyone know anything about Ben Moody's We Are the Fallen, which includes former Evanescence members (other than they have a really bad name - WATF)?

Judge for yourself! I made a thread for them with a backstory on the lead singers solo as well as I've always been a fan of hers even before Idol and she had a different name. I liked that album really good and so did other members here by the thread! I'll look over the links after work but hopefully they are still good! Here's the link:

No problem and it makes sense that they do sound like Evanescence considering it was fueled by the original songwriter. I don't see the two followups to Fallen being as much like Evanescence IMO which is why I don't like them as much. I kind of enjoyed the We Are The Fallen album to both The Open Door and Evanescence S/T album personally and thought if you are going to replace Amy then Carly was a perfect choice. The thing is Amy is an amazing singer but I just thing the materials lacking now.

Saw Evanescence on Thursday night. Totally brilliant concert! Amy Lee is amazing Well the whole band is Amongst many other songs, they did: What you Want, Going Under, Lost In Paradise, My Heart Is Broken, Sweet Sacrifice, Call Me When You're Sober and My Immortal.

Sounds like you had a blast. A couple a friends of mine also went to this event and loved it from start to finish.

Evanescence is what I call a one album wonder. Fallen was amazing. Everything after that, eh. After their line-up changed they got worse. My Immortal is one of my favorite songs ever.
