Always loved it. The harmonies.
Let me just stop you right there.
Maybe YOU don't like 80s music but you'd be far wrong to say others don't like it either. Why do you think there are so many 80s compilation mixes around these days? Because the music back then was way better than it is right now and most people who grew up back then would rather listen to the music of yesteryear than today's crap.
Ok, I just realized that you posted this a year ago. I'll just assume you've changed your mind about the 80s and post one of my favorite and somewhat cheesy 80s vids.

I don't believe I said anywhere in my post that "others don't like it either", but thanks for singling me out there. How nice of you.![]()

I grew up in the classic rock era, but I only belong to one generation.
The music generation.
I think everyone here loves music enough to make the same claim.
I've had the go round with many of my peers who firmly believe nothing after the late 70's is worth listening to, I strongly disagree and always will.

I've noticed a lot of people don't care for the 80s as opposed to the 60s and 70s because of glam/hair bands and synth pop which is why I said what I said in the OP.
However I forgot that some people take things literally and when they have an agenda, they'll nitpick. If anyone else is having a hard time dealing with the OP I will gladly change the wording so everyone can sleep sound tonight.
Exactly, and thank you for that. Everyone is entitled to like what they like here and shouldn't have to fear snide comments or bullying. Being open-minded is never a bad thing. Showing tolerance for opinions outside of your own is an impressive trait.
