I don't have a one all favourite band in the universe, there are many very special bands.
As a very young child the band which had the most momentous affect for me in regard to music were definitely the Beatles. When I heard their hit singles nearly all other contemporary music simply ceased to exist for me. It may be something to do with the period in which they started and I don't think any other band to date had such a hysterical intense reception as the Beatles (especially their tour of USA)

It's hard to pick just one. I'd have to say UFO and Deep Purple are at the top of my long list of favorites.

Hard to pick just one, single, solitary "favorite band", but if I was force to do just that, I'd have to say KISS. Been a fan for as long as I can remember. I fairly certain I've listen to more songs from KISS than any other band in history.
