I don't like the term "new metal" you used for black, death, doom, funeral. When I think of new metal I have in mind bands like: Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and Slipknot (I don't like these bands at all ).

I considered that, but I always referred to that genre as Nu-Metal, the bands you listed I would put in the Urban category.

New Metal was just to separate the Old heavy metal like Sabbath, Priest and Maiden, from the newer bands like Meshuggah, Opeth, Gorgoroth and numerous others.

I changed it to "Newer Metal", B.o.b.

Indie, Rock 'n Roll and other for me.

The 'other' for me would be reggae, and those exempt from genre i.e The Cat Empire.

Rhythm and Blues (the older stuff, current "R&B" artists I don't consider as actual R&B)
Soul/Funk
Other (Traditional/Delta Blues and Reggae)

Woulda gone Pop if there was an option for pre-80's pop, but names like Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Jonas Sisters, Lady GaGa, Britney Spears mean I won't vote for the genre in a pink fit.
