On a far away island .....
What fantastic venues especially Buxton Opera House and Sheffield City Hall!! The 'poshest' venue I have been to would have to be Sydney Opera House otherwise the venues I usually frequent are pubs and the wonderful old Enmore Theatre which is nothing special but has heaps of atmosphere. Mum & Dad saw Rory Gallagher there on his last tour of Australia in 1991.

^^^ Some great looking venues cropping up.:cheers2

Hammersmith Odeon (now called Hammersmith Apollo) London UK, I saw Ted Nugent there when I was a teenager. Ace sound and a top venue.

I'll add Manchester Apollo, a converted 1930's cinema with a capacity to hold 3500.

One of the highlights of last year was seeing Judas Priest and Queensryche there :grinthumb

Some beauties posted so far. Here's one of our best venues, The Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton. The Symphony orchestra plays here but they also book rock bands and musicals.

Yeah I forgot to mention that Sox :bonk:.

Here's The Beacon Theater in NYC which is another great place to see a show. Had the pleasure of seeing Johnny Winter, Dio, Motorhead, Leslie West/Corky Laing, Steppenwolf, BTO, The Guess Who, John Mayall, B.B. King, Miles Davis plus others.
