Re: Post your latest CD/DVD/Vinyl/Cassette purchases here!

I like some of these, I must buy that Slade album, have quite a few of these, nice haul:)

Thanks. I completely recommend picking up that Slade album. It is absolutely awesome, especially side two. It's nothing but pure energy. :hb:

Slade may have released #1 hit singles, but if you ignore the glammy look you will find out they play a really good hard rock. :D

Oh absolutely. They were the heaviest and hardest of all of those 70's glam bands (David Bowie, Sweet, T. Rex, Gary Glitter, etc). They close that album with a cover of "Born To Be Wild" that absolutely rips the roof off the place. :grinthumb

Slade reinvented themselves in the 80's almost as a NWOBHM band thanks to Ozzy pulling out of Reading Festival in 1980. The set is on that album, and it's absolutely mad from start to finish.

Listening to Scarlet Rivera's self-titled album released in 1977.
Like most people, I first heard her play violin on Dylan's Desire album in 1975.

Got this last week, my favorite Chilliwack album "Dreams Dreams Dreams", never made it to CD and it's in near mint condition, the jacket has seen better days but that doesn't bother me at all.
