^^I can pick 2 off the top of my head, "Thriller" and "Back in Black". The rest I would have no idea.

That's funny, Sox and I were discussing what we thought would be the US top ten, I said Thriller would probably be no.1 and Sox said Back In Black

^^I think Dark Side of the Moon would be there too, but I know how you feel about PF generally.:heheh:

I think we could add the Eagles Greatest Hits to the list, it's the best selling compilation album of all time, if I remember correctly.

I have songs from all the albums on the top ten list (except Adele's) on my ipod. The only two albums from the list that I own are "Dark Side of The Moon" and "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band".

7. Double Live, Garth Brooks
8. Come On Over, Shania Twain
10. The Beatles, The Beatles

11. Rumours, Fleetwood Mac
12. Appetite for Destruction, Guns 'N Roses
13. The Beatles: 1967–1970, The Beatles

32. Backstreet Boys, Backstreet Boys
33. Ropin' the Wind, Garth Brooks
34. Ten, Pearl Jam
35. Purple Rain (soundtrack), Prince and the Revolution
36. Greatest Hits: 1974–1978, Steve Miller Band
37. Millennium, Backstreet Boys
38. Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band Live: 1975–1985 (box set), Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band
39. Whitney Houston, Whitney Houston (Arista)
40. Led Zeppelin II, Led Zeppelin

At first glance the top twenty is possibly more rock based than the UK chart. I've got eight of them, excluding Brooks and Twain. I couldn't name a single Garth Brooks song and Shania Twain's sales amaze me. Billy Joel's songs on the compilation, I have probably got on the original albums.
