A 'rock opera' presents a story line told over mutiple parts, songs, or sections unified over a common theme or narrative.

What is your favourite rock opera?

Personally I prefer the Pretty Thing's S.F. Sorrow.

"Scenes From A Memory" is my favorite album but there but I think it's a just a concept album that tells a story and not a rock opera. I feel the same about "Joe's Garage" and "Ziggy Startdust" albeit those albums have much looser stories. That's why I'm voting for "Bat Out Of Hell".

Ayreon would be my all time pick the story took 8 CD's to tell.

Operation Mindcrime gets my vote.
