I would try Lightbulb Sun, Stupid Dream and Deadwing as it is more in the vein of In Absentia. Fear Of The Blank Planet moves more away from the heavy prog/prog metal of the previous three I mentioned but none the less an excellent album. Signify and The Sky Moves Sideways are more of a space/psych rock influenced by Pink Floyd. Both albums are excellent but it might not be to your taste Riff.

I don't think any of the other Steven Wilson projects would be to your liking.

Ill still try them anyway (gonna give Blackfield a shot), I might give No-Man another go one day.
Ill go for any that were Pink Floyd influenced as I actually have started getting into Floyds music.
Space and psych rock are something I have been experimenting with in my library, I actually enjoy the atmosphere it brings so I am prepared to try all those albums you mentioned. Cheers

It is fun to explore. Fun to take a break from all the heavy stuff.

Joe pretty much summed up everything I would have said. I recommend Deadwing as well, definitely one of my top three albums for Porcupine Tree. Once you hear Arriving Somewhere But Not Here, you're going to be in love with the album right away.

Signify is slowly becoming one of my favorite albums right now:

Lightbulb Sun so far is a really good album, I am actually stumped to which I prefer of that or In Absentia.

Since I am getting back into some prog thought I would listen to Lightbulb Sun again. Great album with a nice acoustic opener. Love the solo as well. Fantastic musicianship by this band.
