Yeah, I live in Seattle. It's not as glorious as people say it is. The music scene lately has been pretty shitty.

You should definitely look into Devin Townsend. All of his music is so musically genuis, it's incredible. And unfortunately, I haven't seen BTBAM live, my cousin did though, and he said the show was ****in insane.

BTBAM is right up my alley. I dig a lot of the newer age metal bands as well as the older stuff. The old Lamb of God is when they were at their prime I agree. I've seen them live twice, and they were phenomenal both times.

Not bad, and thank you. And we probably have a lot of similar taste :)

I've been getting in a range of stuff new and old. 2Cellos is two Cello players who kind of like Apocalyptica bring different genres into the classical mold. They really shred those things two covering everything from Welcome To The Jungle to Hurt to Smooth Criminal. I've recently discovered Donny Hathaway in the soul realm and the c.d. I'm anticipating most is the new Blue October album coming up. :)

It's actually between Adore and Siamese Dream! Siamese is awesome as well as my sentimental favorite being that it's closer to my musical prime and when I first started appreciating music on an emotional level (largely due to the Pumpkins) and Adore is just an underrated darkhorse album that I respect most because it was a ballsy, risky move that produced an album full of beautiful music. I have reasons why each one is high in their own way down to the awesome boxset but I think those are two great extremes to start with. :)
