Indeed and to be fair it was merely one album
Ive loved what 2011 has offered for the most part, 2012 should be awesome for music.

As I said awhile back I have embraced and accepted Anette as the singer, I just hope they did go a bit heavier to accommodate her vocal range, I don't think she is suitable to the operatic style of music.

Been checking this thread out I've recently started getting into Within Temptation and wondered if I'd like Nightwish too. I'd only ever heard Nemo before so I've been playing a few of the vids posted here. The video above, Cadence Of Her Last Breath, I don't really like her voice - I assume that's the new singer? Which would be a good album for me as a starter?

Yes Tray, COHLB is the new singer, I'm not a huge fan of the new stuff either.
I would suggest starting with Oceanborn or Wishmaster, as both are masterpieces of the genre and Nightwish at their creative peak.

Yeah I went through and cleaned up a couple missing vids here....the first post is the new singer on the last three videos. Though that last one "The Islander" is sung by their bass player Marco.

Riff had a good song posted from their last album but it was dead so I replaced it. Here is the "big" song from the last album with their new singer
