My father would play Johnny Cash 8-track tapes at home and on car rides. His music is indelibly engrained in me. Perhaps because I heard his music literally all my life, there is a certain credibility to Johnny’s music; I believe every story and characters’ struggles in every one of the songs he sings.
Music from The Beatles and Johnny Cash is personal to me as this is the music I have heard and really enjoyed as long as I can remember.
