Georg Solti

[Hurdy Gurdy Man]

Being somewhat of a Grammy history buff,I've learned that Sir George Solti won a record thirty or thirty one awards.Is he any of you classical buffs' favorite modern classical figure?

He's a legend for sure and I have quite a few recordings of his in the library. My all time favorite conductor...that's hard to say but he's on the short list for sure.
