Early, early 80's Madonna. Big song on the dance charts but not as commercially successful, but it got her noticed.



If you watch the video on YouTube (embedding not allowed on here), her brother is one of her background dancers on the left. Not sure if it's the same one who now resides under a bridge.

It really was a stellar album Slippy. My favorites among her early releases will always be True Blue and Like a Prayer.

We all know the 80s were not the best era for music...

Let me just stop you right there.

Maybe YOU don't like 80s music but you'd be far wrong to say others don't like it either. Why do you think there are so many 80s compilation mixes around these days? Because the music back then was way better than it is right now and most people who grew up back then would rather listen to the music of yesteryear than today's crap.
