I thought I'd poll some of my favorite "Cheesy" songs I liked growing up just to see which off the list turns out to get the most votes.. This is a multiple, so pick as many as you like!!!

Henry Gross~ Shannon

Benny Mardones~ Into The Night

Hall and Oats~ Sara Smile

Earth Wind and Fire~ That's The Way Of The World

Average White band~ Schoolboy Crush

Rufus~ You Got The Love

None of the songs I know nor I like after a bit of listening. But I'd like to give two my favourite cheesy songs of the 70s. Probably I know more, but I've forgotten about them. :D

Suzi Quatro & Chris Norman - Stumblin In

Terry Jacks - Seasons In The Sun

Slip'n I think you and I must have had the same 8 tracks as kids!

You did dish out some cheesy selections to pick from. Out of those choices I dont know whether to pick the Cheesiest song or the one that has the best groove..........

Eh, go for the groove! That's The Way of The World ~ Earth, Wind & Fire with honorable mention to the groove on Benny Mardones "Into The Night"

I wouldn't consider any of these to be Cheesy (and I KNOW my freakin' cheese). Well, other than Shannon. That might hit the top of the cheese list

:heheh:

For me, I'll go with what I like off of this list and two take top spot for me. the Benny tune and the Hall & Oates track are both top notch, great tunes. Sara Smile is probably a top 1 or 2 H&O track for me. Since this is multiple choice, they will both get my vote since they are heads and shoulders above the others.

Benny Mardones - Into the Night
Hall & Oates - Sara Smile

( you know how I love my ballad-y stuff ) :cheers2

2nd tier for me would be:
Earth Wind and Fire
Average White Band
Chaka/Rufus

You did read that you can pick as many as you liked right Magic?

But the only song off this list I remember from the radio was the Rufus song.. The rest were groups or hits I heard when I'd buy those good old Ktel comp LP's..
But I really got into Average white band as a youngster.. Just liked that funky stuff alot!!

You know what's funky about the Average White Band (yes, pun intended).... those were a bunch of white boys from Scotland. They totally had the funky funk rolling in the mid 70's. very cool, very groovy.
