I love The Beatles' uptempo version, because they juxtapose the cheerful melody with the underlying sadness. It's interesting to hear April Wine go for all-out melancholy. They were signed to EMI in the UK, so there could be a record company motive, or am I just being cynical?
This blew my mind. I've ALWAYS loved Graham Bonnet as a singer and in this cover (which also features Slash on guitar) his vocals are beyond amazing and some of the best I've ever heard from him.
After 41 pages this may have already been posted but I recently found my Deja Vu CD after it being missing for quite some time so I've been jamming on this quite a bit. Might just be the best CSNY song the guitar part rocks so darn hard.
