Re: Your favorite cover songs !

Another great "I Put a Spell on You" cover. I don't like Marilyn Manson as a rule, but this song just screams H A L L O W E E N !

Re: Your favorite cover songs !

Yes, this is a great idea for a thread!

I like Atomic Kitten's cover of Dionne Warwick's classic:

Anyone Who Had a Heart - Atomic Kitten

I like Urge Overkill's cover of Neil Diamond's classic:

Girl You'll Be a Woman Soon - Urge Overkill

I like the Searchers cover of Clover's classic:

Love Potion #9

I like Linda Ronstadt's cover of Roy Orbison's classic:

Blue Bayou - Linda Ronstadt

I like Whitney Houston's cover of this tune. I thought Dolly Parton's twittering on the original was really annoying.

I Will Always Love You -Whitney Houston

Re: Your favorite cover songs !

I like a lot of the covers that the Rolling Stones did early on including:

Fortune Teller

Money

Time Is on My Side (Irma Thomas)

Pain in My Heart (Irma Thomas, Otis Redding)

Under the Boardwalk (Drifters)

I've Been Loving You (Otis Redding)

Everybody Needs Someboy to Love (Solomon Burke)

Turn Me On said:
Why he(jake Holmes) chose to do this is puzzling, because he deserves credit for writing "Dazed and Confused."

More than the credit he deserves the royalties.
