Zeppelin's "Graffiti" has just recently moved to the top of my "next purchases" list" as I've always wanted to own an original copy of the famous "windows" cover. And WOW,WHAT A LIST OF MEGA-CLASSIC L.P.'s!!Just as with individual songs, back in '75 there were future and instant classics EVERYWHERE back then!McCartney and Wings' "Venus and Mars" in particular is a very fine and oft-overlooked piece of Beatle lore.Elton John's "Captain Fantastic" was the first album ever to enter the Billboard top 200 at number one. Many Floyd fans actually choose "Wish You Were Here" even over "Dark Side".Great thread!

This is one of my favourite years! A lot of my favourites released albums in 1975 and one of the best things about this year was that artists who peaked in the late 60s/early 70s were still releasing great albums (Led Zeppelin) whereas acts like Buckingham/Nicks Fleetwood Mac released their first album together. It also brought what is widely considered to be one of Bob Dylan's greatest albums after a lean spell for him.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here (possibly my favourite album of all time! It's between this and Dark Side)
Bob Dylan - Blood on The Tracks
Eagles - One Of These Nights
Fleetwood Mac - Fleetwood Mac
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Neil Young - Tonight's The Night
Neil Young & Crazy Horse - Zuma

Still not massive, but more than I own for most other years TBH - the only year comparable for the number of albums in my collection is actually 1979 although Rust Never Sleeps and The Wall are the only two studio albums I have from that year which I consider great whereas I love pretty much everything I've got from '75.
