1975 was indeed a banner year for rock music! Vinyl was very hip, with many bands releasing superb albums that year. I'll take a shot at some of my favorites of then, and also currently.
I'll probably miss a few, but here it goes!
Jeff Beck - Blow By Blow
Fleetwood Mac - S/T
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Robin Trower - For Earth Below
Ted Nugent - S/T
Nazareth - Hair Of The Dog
Deep Purple - Come Taste The Band
Tommy Bolin - Teaser
Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow - S/T
Black Sabbath - Sabotage
Queen - Night At The Opera
Blue Oyster Cult - On Your Feet Or On Your Knees
BTO - Head On
ZZ Top - Fandango
Alice Cooper - Welcome To My Nightmare
Aerosmith - Toys In The Attic
REO Speedwagon - This Time We Mean It
Styx - Equinox
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Nuthin' Fancy
ELO - Face The Music
Rush - Fly By Night
Thin Lizzy - Fighting
Outlaws - S/T
UFO - Force It
A banner year it surely was! Many of these will continue to be both favorites, and also listened to as often as possible.
