I listened to whatever they played on "Classic Rock" radio stations. I also listened to whatever videos were on MTV, back when MTV meant "Music television" and they mostly played music videos. There was a lot of good music in the 80's, but none of it was on the radio or MTV, so I didn't learn about it until many years later.

I just listen to whatever I like, Old Dude.

It may not be popular, it may not be nice....it's cheaper than wild rice.

Have you ever seen the harvest process of wild rice?

nvm

So do I. But, to know what I like, I first have to hear it at least once to make a decision on whether I like it or not. If I've never had an opportunity to hear something for the first time, how would I possibly know if I liked it or not? How would you know if you liked something if you never, ever heard it?

And, just because you might like something, what if you have no access to any sort of audio reproducing technology to play the recordings of that music you like? What if most of your money is tied up in things like food, clothing, shelter, and other such things? What if you don't have sufficient spare resources to purchase recordings and playback equipment? What if you're stuck with just the radio in your car? Then how do you listen to "whatever you like"?

I sing to myself....fact.

I have this unique ability that allows self-entertainment.

INTP personality, remember?
