Love Al Stewart , a fellow Rush fan got me into his music , "Go and tell Lord Grenville that the tide is on the turn / It's time to haul the anchor up and leave the land .... has got to be one of the greatest songs ever penned , and that guitar break / work .... gobsmacking !

I'm wondering if anyone knows if Al Stewart has any plans to ever tour again in Britain before he gets too old for the trip, also if he's only going to do acoustic shows, i find the acoustic stuff boring having seen 4 while i was living over in the USA, but am now back in Britain, also the same question about Jackson Browne, are we destined only to get acoustic shows from here on in.

It is rather odd that he hasn't been to Europe in quite some time, considering he was born in Scottland. He still tours Canada and the US, but I don't think he's been anywhere else in the last few years.

I merged gerdundula's post and question to the Al Stewart thread...good enough excuse for a bump.
