Woo hoo got the Internet connection at the venue. The other band are doing sound check and I must say I hate the sound of 5 string bass. It's so stupid. We're playing first and I am feeling good. No stress at all, I just want to get on with it and have it done. I am not well prepared for my bass solo though, it's like I need to improvise for at least 2 minutes. We will see what's gonna happen. Meantime... time to relax with some Venom before the performance. Fingers crossed.

Hey dude, when are we going to get to hear your stuff! I've never seen any threads by you in the Musician's Corner. I bet you are awesome! I'd love to hear you play!

^^ I wanted to uplouad a video of me playing Iron Claw song on bass, but the audio quality was so... poo-ish. The gig will be recorded, so I might try to get the video and upload it on YouTube. But yeah, I've got no much evidence to show my skills and ability to play an instrument. Thing may change over the holiday.

Okay we just finished playing and I can't believe we were so horrible.
First half of the set I was playing so out of key, like I had to tune down for Black Velvet cover and I was prepared for standard tuning and sudden change was so difficult. First two songs were crap, but BV was good. For the second part I was playing fine, even my bass solo went alright, but evanescence covers were out of time. Like instruments were at good timing, but the vocalist messed up.
As I said I don't care what people think, I might not get distinction for that, but nor pass (hopes for merit) so yeah... Jolly times
