I don't think Bruce Springsteen is all that great as a singer. :(
Amen to this.. I couldn't believe he is the highest insured singer for his voice sake.. A 10 million dollar policy on his vocal cords..:wtf: He may kick butt in concert but to me he just sounds like he's forcing a hernia..

Sid Viscous is a pretty awful singer, but I suppose he get away with it because he is punk.

I know I am niave, but I didn't realize these guys insured their voices.....It isn't like they are going to suffer injury from singing, unles the mic jumps down their throat. Maybe if you growl improperly, you might injure your vocal chords.

sounds to me like insurance companies see these guys coming as fools!

Hey. Magic..Um the Lords of London have to insure his because of the amount of payoff if he loses his voice or suffers a major problem.. I don't know if all musicians insure theirs.... I feel for Tom Keifer because he was off on his last tour and had to stop do to rupturing his vocal cords and that was it for him.. He's back under the radar..When I seen them in concert (Cinderella) he had a problem with his voice and apologized for not being able to sing spot on.. His acoustic song he had to let the audience sing some of the chorus..:heheh:
It's was still a great concert..

I don't know what happened to Springsteen's voice over the years, on Born To Run, he has pretty good pipes, but some of his newer stuff is not the same caliber. I like old hard rockin' Bruce better anyway.

Bob Dylan, I have gotten into trouble before for saying just that, he mumbles more than sings, strangely enough on his greatest hits 2 CD album, I don't mind too much, it's the only Dylan I own.;)
