Yoko Ono, backed up by Elephant's Memory. I doesn't get much worse vocally.

Lou Reed in Velvet Underground

That song "All Tomorrow's Parties" makes me want to throw up.

There were alot of terrible lead singers in the 70's. I will pick on one band in particular, though, The Bay City Rollers.

Les McKeown was a horrible singer. The band was horrible!

Here is what he looks like these days!

There is an interesting story with the Bay City Rollers. Their manager, Tam Paton, was accused of ****** young boys, he was never convicted but still the accusation was there. After the managers death, Les came forward and told that Tam had raped him.

I've never heard Bay City Rollers personally, though I've heard many people talk about them in that way, so I guess it's a blessing I've never heard them! :D

Tom Petty

We have a winner! Please put your pencils down, class...

Btw... I like Petty's music A LOT, but his voice has never been anything special. Same with AC/DC and Bon Scott. Brian Johnson's voice was only slighty less-grating than Bon's.

But, hey... that's just me.
