Hi! My name is Nick Duretta, and I'm a lifelong music fan who's become a writer of murder mysteries in my retirement (under the pen name Nicholas George). I just started a new series about retired rock drummer Adam Parrall, whose band Parallax had one big hit in the 1970s and milked that into a four-decade career. Now he lives with his lead-singer wife Shawna in the coastal town of Cordoba, California. In the book that kicks off the series, "You've Lost That Livin' Feeling," Adam teams up with the local police when a friend, Righteous Brothers impersonator Barry Haddon, is found murdered outside a local club right before he was to go onstage.
