Hello my fellow Rockers, so much to say but not a lifetime to share it all so a few tidbits from my lifelong love of Rock n roll.
This is Jim’s Concert list.
Sometimers is upon me nowadays and honestly I had forgotten many of the shows seen due to all the drinkin, Smokin and partyin that went on at each one. lol
This list took me many years & countless communications to compile and is not in any sane order or number of times seen.
I’ve seen Bob Seger, 9 times because his music was such a major influence on my life.
Lynryd Skynyrd was my first show in 1972, what an eye opener that was at 14 years old.
Wet Willie, Allman Bros, Molly Hatchet, Outlaws, Silver Moon Band (Fla), Marshal Tucker, 38 Special, Peter Frampton, Bob Welch, Pat Benatar, Rush, Bad Company, Doobie Bros (8), Steve Miller, Eagles (2, 40 years apart), Lumineers, Tom Petty(4), Boston, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, CCR, Foreigner (5), Van Halen (DLR), Kansas, Styx, The Cars, Fleetwood Mac, Canned Heat, Jackson Brown, Heart, Journey, Ted Nugent (6), BTO, BT, ZZ Top(8), Bon Jovi, Cheap Trick, Joan Jett (4), Three Dog Night (3), Foghat and Edgar Winter.
Regrets for not going when they were touring:
AC/DC, Led Zepllin, Santana, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Queen, Moody blues, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Nirvana
Rockers that I've met:
Tom Petty Bachelor party 8-83
Danny Joe Brown (Molly Hatchet)
Paul Rodgers (Bad Company)
Donny Van Zant (38 Special)
Ted Nuget
Doug Gray (Marshal Tucker)
Ivan, Pete and the rest of the band members of Sugar Bear, a local bar band that played at Mr. G's near Ocala Florida back in the early 80's. Good party times and they are still playing today!!!
Hope to see some old friends that have long been out of touch in the Ocala area.
