What happened???

Attempted to purchase an item for my mother for Christmas. I waited and waited and nothing. Sent the seller two messages on eBay. No response. It wasn't until I emailed him to his personal address that he's all "Oh, I ran out of stock. Just open a case and I'll refund your money." The hell? Why couldn't he just send me the money himself without the case? SO I went to the PayPal site and got the runaround. Finally was fed up and called them myself. They said he had had other issues before (being newish to eBay I didn't realize) and that we'd open a case and he has 10 days to respond or they will give me a refund in full. Thank GOD I used PayPal though. I'm just done with eBay now I've used it once before with no issues but this one was enough. Amazon, I've never had issues with them once and I get the packages faster.

Amazon is by far better than eBay. Ordered today new shoes and I'm already happy.
