So I heard today that apparently there is a petition somewhere on the internet to trying to get Weird Al to do the Superbowl halftime show next year. When asked about this I guess Al said he'd love to do it if he was offered.
I've always liked Al's non-parody songs more. I remember the first time I heard him on the Dr. Demento show. He did a song called "School Cafeteria". I also love "This is the Life" and "Christmas at Ground Zero".
Weird Al just released a new album a few days ago and while I haven't heard the whole thing yet, the first three songs he released from it make me very excited for it. These are three of the most entertaining parodies I think Al has written in a few albums, especially "Word Crimes", which really shows off his excellent and beloved nerdism.
