I got into these two bands at about the same time and followed both throughout the seventies. I never had a chance to see UFO live but I did see Thin Lizzy on their Jailbreak tour and the show was excellent.
But, if these two LPs were tied, the live version of Rock Bottom would push UFO over the top.
This statement actually works perfect for both albums both being Phil and the boys lol
Sorry for the bump, just glad I found this forum. Any forum talking about Live and Dangerous vs. Strangers in the Night gets it. 2 of my favorite bands and easily the 2 best ever live albums.
