Two Ex-Moody Blues Members Celebrate Milestone Birthdays

They aren’t in the band anymore, but they are always remembered by fans for the stunning work they contributed to a brilliant group that, sadly, just doesn’t get the recognition it once did.

Ray Thomas turns 70 today (December 29) and Mike Pinder turned 70 on December 27.

Man they are getting up there...like all of us.

The last time I looked only Graeme Edge tours under the Moody Blues nowadays, or did up to a couple years ago.

I've had a run of good luck since I last visited this thread, and have picked up about 20 of their albums, the MFSL versions and some vinyl copies as well.

JUSTIN HAYWARD had a U.K. hit single with BLUE GUITAR in late 1975.

Bit of a surprise hit for Justin i guess although it was the 1970s and a lot of different songs charted back then anyway this was a 'slow haunting song' and quite a good one actually i still like it after 37 years

The last time I looked only Graeme Edge tours under the Moody Blues nowadays, or did up to a couple years ago.

LG, John Lodge and Justin Hayward are still there too. In fact, they're touring the US in March/April next year and also going to South Africa.

I used to go to see them every time they toured the UK but I've given it a miss the last few times.

The Moody Blues are coming in concert near me in March.I would love to see them because it has been about 15 years since I have seen them.The ticket prices are pretty steep though-$56 and $98

The $60.00 tickets look reasonable Fever, if Justin, John and Graeme are all in the band then it is a Real Moody Blues concert.

They might have been here a couple years ago,,,or I could be mixing up their show in Spokane with us seeing their TV stations are our US cable channels.
