A bit surprised no one has mentioned "Let It Be" so far.I would like THIS one to be played at my funeral.Perhaps also "Long and Winding Road" from the same early 1969 sessions.I know Brian Wilson was aiming for "a symphony to GOD with "Pet Sounds".With the exception,I think,of "God Only Knows",I kinda question that he succceded in the task. How about the Moody Blues' "Candle of Life" and "Eternity Road",both from "To Our Children's Children's Children".For me,many Moody tunes hold significant spiritual value,as I think this was their primary conceptual goal during their 1967-'72 psych period."Isn't Life Strange" from "Seventh Sojourn" is also well deserving of high honorable mention here.Someone previously posted George Harrison's "Within You,Without You",possibly rock's single greatest spiritual number as it was directly based on George's deeply esoteric Hindu beliefs. If you analyze the situation further than OBVIOUSLY spiritual numbers such as these, really ANYTHING that lifts one's spirits and makes one feel empowered with optimism about life can be more or less considered spiritual. And,of course, rock history is abundant with hard driving numbers that have boosted the morale of many listeners.Another Harrison pick here, although perhaps too obvious to mention,is "My Sweet Lord".Despite the fact that the quiet Beatle was sued for copyright infingement for the tune due to its similarities to the CHiffons' "He's So Fine",the highly inspirationl lyrics were original and it's lyrics that for the most part make a song spiritual because that's where the messages are....

Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Hebrews 13:2
