Size of Music Collection?

Just curious as to how big your music collection is whether it be cds, music library on your computer.
An estimated guess Id have around 4-500 plus cds.
8819 songs on my computer, 45.4 gig of music all up in my library, its not enough music.

I have over 3000 vinyl LPs, about 400 45s and EPs, over 600 CDs and over 2TB of mp3s...

I'll have to come back when I have a more accurate number, but according to my iTunes, I have 15 GB of music w/ 125 artists at that. I have a shit ton more, but haven't fully gotten them all onto different drives. So its still lacking for a bit.

I'm still too "oldschool" to be able to measure the size of my music-peen in "gigawatts" (although I know it would be pretty close to 1.21 gigawatts)



At last count a few yrs ago, I was at around 2500+ CDs. I don't touch vinyl or cassettes anymore, so I wont' even bother counting them.

I'm kind of a slow bear, so forgive me. When you say 2,443 C.D.'s you mean "worth of", not actual C.D.'s ? Like there isn't 2,433 c.d.'s that you could pour out on the floor and roll around in if you wanted to?

I need to count my CD's. I know I have over 500 record albums.

Forgiven! About 95% of those would be actual physical albums I could pour out on my floor but some of those physical albums like EPs I turned into one album for certain artist on my I-Tunes so there would be a higher number there and some of those albums are I-Tunes exclusives where I can't get the actual album because it's only released that way. I'm very high on buying physical copies so no, I'm not one of those guys who thinks that just downloading an album is owning it! I just like having all my physical albums to be able to come with me when I leave home!

I've got around 200 albums (CDs and LPs)... I might need to collect all discographies into one folder to know how many gigs I have.

Like 5,000 CD's and still adding...about 500-600 movies music and regular flicks.

29 physical CD's and 75,431 GB of music on my HDD which is 8,551 songs.
