Re: Rainbow
^^^I agree, DKW! I do remember a few years ago there was some talk/rumor of a possible Rainbow reunion, and with the 'Rising' through 'LLRnR' line-up, but it didn't materialize, sadly! I do wonder how Ritchie feels about not being able to make that reunion happen, or if he simply had little or no interest with wanting to do that, perhaps? I don't remember reading much of any comments from Ritchie on the passing of RJD, however I will check the RJD thread asap.

To Rainbow. Even after nearly 30 years and over 500 cds later,Rainbow on Stage is STILL my favourite album !. Those opening words from the intro tape and then Richies Kill the King riff as they lead us through a truly great set. The Rainbow '76 30th anniversary tour 3 cds are a worthy addition to any Rock collection. Blackmore and Dio truly complemented each others great talents. Stargazer from Rising still sends shivers down my spine as RJD sings with so much passion and emotion towards the end of a great epic track. Did they better that period ?.........IMHO,no, but perhaps they went on to reflect the musical times and attitude as only Richie can.
