Re: Rainbow I have All of Rainbow's albums, and like MP said many line-up changes over the years but they still released some great stuff. Thanks MP I would have gotten around to them this week if you didn't...
Re: Rainbow The first time I heard the whole debut album "Rainbow" I was sitting in a snow storm in a friends volkswagon in the middle of a cherry orchard.. Stoned out of my mind.. Man on the Silver mountain made me see God!!!!! Then I seen the devil when we played Robin Trowers "Bridge of Sighs" I havn't been the same since..
Re: Rainbow Rock On Thumper.. Lord I love that album!!! Sorry if you were going to start a thread...didn't know...well it's here so we can rock away!!! I'll add some more tunage later.
Re: Rainbow I LOVE it when you all write threads for us. One it adds variety to the pen, and Two it saves me doing it...which is a Win/Win for us.. I have lots to do buddy so every new thread is appreciated.
Re: Rainbow Lord, That was my first Rainbow record I bought. I never heard them but knew Blackmore was in the band & heard good things about the band. I bought the album from the bargain bin in the late 70's for $4.99. Great album & great band.Ihave everything on vinyl but only The Best of on CD. It's hard to pick a favorite album because I really love all eras of them but I really love Straight Between the Eyes especially "Power"
Re: Rainbow Coool Lord...it's all good times!! Bucky yeah! POWER and Straight Between The Eyes IS a great disc! Get the denim and leather out here!! Death Alley Driver
