Re: Rainbow

Hi LG, I did get Down To Earth on cd as well cos I play it so much but the others are all vinyl. Also I bought "Catch The Rainbow" the Anthology cd for when I want the Dio stuff at hand. It's actually a good kick off for anyone wanting to get into the band it gives a taste of each line up.

:bump::bump:I think he got an offer to front 13 Candles but turned it down cos they were too high profile Lou:heheh:....Actually I think he lives in Los Angeles still tours with a band and is doing alright.

Re: Rainbow

Yeah that's probably about right. Last I checked he's been running a solo career since leaving Rainbow.

Re: Rainbow

I'm a HUGE fan of Dio era Rainbow. Richie Blackmore's Rainbow , Rainbow Rising,
and Long Live Rock and Roll are all masterpieces in my mind.
GREAT STUFF.
I have never felt the same way about Rainbow's material after the departure of RDJ though. All though some of it is very good it is a little bit too radio friendly for my taste.
